Famous Ghost Picture From 1936

The Brown Lady of Raynham Hall

This photo taken in 1936 during a photo shoot for Country Life magazine by Indra Shira,
this famous real ghost picture of an apparition descending the stairs has been
viewed all around the world. Indra saw the white form taking shape and ordered his
assistant to take a picture of this staircase. His assistant, who did not see the
white shadow, bet Shira that nothing was there - he lost when the photo was taken. He couldn't believe his eyes when he saw what was there.

This famous, real ghost picture was captured in is Raynham Hall in
Norfolk. King George the IV of England and others had seen a
ghost they call
the Brown Lady before this photo was taken. She has not been seen since this
1936 photo. So what do you think? Is this a real ghost pic?

I have a ghost at my parent's house, and this lady, who seems to be a bit older, wears a grayish colored gown and has white hair. She seems timid---more scared of us than we are of her.

This blog is very interesting!

He he! I was obsessed with ghosts when I was younger and this was my No#1 picture...

I moved to a haunted pub later and had some creepy experiences.

This is an AWESOME blog and I love the ghost pictures. Please keep it up! It's a great place to come and get creeped out.

I'm never going to be safe looking at pictures I've taken ever again - in case I suddenly see something spooky in the background!
